Homemade Ghee
Homemade ghee is worth the effort! It is essentially lactose free, suitable for frying and boasts a luxurious texture and incredible flavour profile.Ingredients:
- Butter (at least 100g)
Method:
- Melt the butter in a heavy-based tall saucepan
- Gently boil for 8 minutes
- Strain through a muslin into a bowl
- Once the ghee has cooled down and is starting to thicken, transfer it to a jar
- Keep in the fridge
