Triple Cooked Chips Medium
Ingredients:
- 1kg Maris Piper potatoes
- Salt
- Oil for Frying
Method
Cut potatoes into chips – roughly 2x2x6cm.
Bring to boil in salted water and drain immediately.
Keep in the fridge until needed.
Heat the oil for deep frying in a large sauce pan to 150C and cook the chips until they are cooked though, but not coloured (this may take 6-10 minutes).
When ready to eat, heat the oil to 180C and fry the chips until golden brown and crispy.
